Discrete and Continuous Realities According to Fundamental Laws of Nature [ Castel R E, Jan 26, 2011 ]

Abstract

The analysis of the all-encompassing existence, broken down to the level of the most fundamental, clarifies fundamental laws of nature that describe a generalized picture of the synthesis of the discrete and the continuous realities brought about by the transformation processes that fundamentally occur in nature.

The sensible view of the existence is according to the concurrent duration transformation and motion transformation that both point to the simultaneous processes of kinematic condensation and kinematic attenuation that bring about the cosmos in its quantized mass-energy state...

The occurrences in nature are duration and motion. Their transformations depict the change in nature that is sensible as duration that is perceived by the mind and as motion that is perceived by the body.

We therefore perceive the abstract instance of existence and the material substance of existence as accordingly defined by the duration transformation and the motion transformations.

Our physics describes mainly the material substance of existence that is defined by the motion transformations that manifest the kinematic occurrences of mass and of energy as quantized states of motion.

The simultaneous processes of kinematic condensation and kinematic attenuation are together the kinematic process that sets the kinematic limits that bring about the quantized mass and energy states...

Going back to the basics again...

The fundamental picture is that there are the noumena and the phenomena in nature. The noumena (all the abstract informations) are that which are apprehended by the mind and the phenomena (all the corporeal or material formations) are that which are apprehended by the body.

The view is that we have the phenomena within the space dimension and the noumena along the time dimension.

The more common view is that we have the intance of existence in the time dimension and we have the substance of existence in the space dimension.

The instance of existence is rendered its definition by the duration transformation and the substance of existence is rendered its definitions by the motion transformations.

Thus, in the realm of noumena, we have the time dimension, the instance of existence along the time dimension, and the duration transformation rendered on the instance of existence.

And, in the realm of phenomena, we have the space dimension, the substance of existence in the space dimension, and the motion transformations rendered on the substance of existence.

And, on the one hand, it is evident that duration is a purely 'linear' occurrence in the duration transformation process. There are no other duration 'vectors' that interact with the lone duration 'vector'; thus, duration can never be rotated nor reversed.

On the other hand, although motion in its simplified form is a linear occurrence, it is evident that motion may also be rotated according to the interactions of the motions in the motion transformations process.

Thus, the motions may be particulated (rotated and condensed into mass) by the motion transformation process, and the fundamental motion transformation process may be reversible although apparently only partially – i.e., partly fragmented and partly radiated but never wholy radiated, which suggests that the rotated or particulated motions may only be multiplied through the fragmentation.

The radiation of the condensed motions is characteristic of the thermodynamic process involved in all finite systems of particulate motions.

But in the infinite system, specifically the infinitely hierarchical cosmos, the thermodynamic 'motion radiation' process is limited. Therefore, the absolutely cold, entropic, motionless state of totally radiated motions is not possible.

Part of the total motions condensed in the biased motion transformations process are retained as 'inertial' masses. The thermodynamic radiation of condensed motions is only a part of the whole motion transformation process involved in the continuously created cosmos.

Evidently, duration and motion are the basic occurrences in nature. And the duration transformation and the motion transformations are the fundamental processes involved in the "events" in nature.

Thus, nature is fundamentally temporal and kinematic. Nature is defined fundamentally by duration in the noumena and by motion in the phenomena.

The defined duration (temporal periods of the instance of existence) and the defined motions (cosmic mass or energy in the substance of existence) become the discrete realities in nature.

Evidently, the condensed (rotated and folded) motions achieve the stabilized configurations in the form of mass – e.g., quantum particles, atoms, molecules, black holes, and etc.

Evidently, the breakdown of the stabilized configurations allow for the release of energy – e.g., the radiant motions, the electric, the magnetic, heat radiation, and etc.

The questions regarding what conditions govern (facilitate and alter) the various kinematic configurations is the prime concern of science, of physics, according to our technological aspirations.

But beyond the questions for our technological aspirations is the fundamental question regarding the human condition...

Human existence is phenomena and noumena, formation and information, in unison at every firing of the synapse, that ultimately reverberates with the grand question – Why?
